A dream fulfilled.

My husband has been dreaming about owning a boat for well over 30 years.  Today, his dream came true.   We are now the proud owners of a boat.

I love you Helmut, and I'm so happy that I could be here to see this dream come to life for you, because you've made so many of mine come to life. 

As a bonus, this is going to make camping a whole lot more fun for me!!!

Today, I resigned my position as Design Team member at My Scrap Shoppe. 

It was not a decision I made lightly, but I feel confident that I made the right choice. 
I appreciate the opportunity that I had to be a part of something as special as the Design Team.  Thank you Marcy!

To one of my very good friends, on the birth of her little boy last week.

So, I've been looking online to find some vintage melamine picnic dishes to go in it!

I found a few things on Etsy that should be arriving in my mailbox within the next couple weeks and I can't wait!

Spring.

I love when the snow starts to melt and the sun seems to change from a frigid orb to a warm friendly glowing ball.  Today was the first day that I've felt that way since this winter started.  It feels great to finally be looking forward to warmth again.

I'm back.

We're back from Vegas! What a trip!  I don't think I've laughed that much in years. And you know they say that laughter is the best medicine, and it most certainly was much needed medicine for me!

I'll be back later with stories and photos, but now I need to go and take another nap.  I'm exhausted.
